Elder Law & Estate Attorneys

A Direct Purchase Option for Your Client

Elder law and estate attorneys can speak directly with Andrew when a client is considering selling property in Suffolk County. We invest our own capital and act as the buyer. Andrew discusses the property, your client’s priorities, and the terms of a possible purchase with you and your client.

Your Client’s Circumstances

When a Direct Purchase May Fit

A move, a change in care needs, or the administration of an estate may lead your client to consider a sale. Your client or their family may be managing an inherited home, an unused building, repairs, or tenants. Andrew takes time to understand the property and the practical concerns surrounding a possible sale.

We consider single-family homes, multifamily buildings, mixed-use buildings, and vacant land. If the property is a fit, Andrew can present a proposed price, timing, and terms for you and your client to consider without first marketing the property.

How We Work

From the First Conversation

01 / INTRODUCTION

Discuss the Property

With your client’s permission, share the property’s location, current use, and any concerns or timing that matter. Andrew reviews the initial details with you, discusses our interest, and agrees on how to involve your client.

02 / PROPOSAL

Review the Terms

If there is a fit, Andrew explains the proposed price, timing, and terms. You or the attorney handling the sale will review the agreement with your client before they sign. Andrew answers questions and discusses changes.

03 / CLOSING

Work Toward Closing

After the contract is signed, Andrew coordinates the property review and closing preparations with you and the other professionals involved. He follows up on outstanding questions and keeps you and your client informed.

Working Together

A Direct Line to Andrew

You can begin with a conversation about the property before making a client introduction. With your client’s permission, Andrew can continue through you or speak with them directly. He agrees with you on who should be involved and how updates should be shared.

You remain involved in the legal matter, and Andrew coordinates with the attorney handling the sale if that is someone else. Lewis Equity Group is the prospective buyer; Andrew handles the purchase discussion on its behalf. Your client receives independent advice from their own counsel.

What to Share Initially

  • The property’s location, type, and current use
  • Your client’s priorities, timing, and any known property concerns
  • Who should be included in the conversation

You are welcome to get acquainted before a client needs help. Andrew is glad to learn about your practice and discuss when he may be a useful contact.

Other Introductions

Other professionals and people making a personal introduction are welcome to contact Andrew as well. With the person’s permission, share the property or real estate question they would like to discuss.

Brokerage Representation

When Representation Better Fits

If your client needs a public listing, help with a purchase, or property advice, Andrew can discuss a separate engagement through Lewis Realty Group. Our affiliated brokerage provides seller representation, buyer representation, and real estate advisory services. Andrew explains the role before your client decides how to proceed.
