Lewis Equity Group

Attorneys & Other Professionals

When a Client Has
Property to Sell

Andrew works with attorneys and other professionals advising owners who are considering a property sale in Suffolk County, with a focus on Brookhaven, Riverhead, and Southold. Depending on the owner’s plans, he can discuss a direct purchase by Lewis Equity Group or separate brokerage representation through Lewis Realty Group.

A Direct Purchase

An Option
for Your Client

A direct purchase allows your client to consider a specific buyer and written terms without first preparing for a public listing. This can be useful when an estate, an underused building, or a change in business plans calls for a sale. Your client and their attorney can compare those terms with the option of marketing the property.

01 / ACCOUNTABILITY

Work Directly with Andrew

You and your client work directly with Andrew Lewis, the company’s founder and owner. He handles the property discussion, answers questions along the way, and remains the point of contact as the purchase moves toward closing.

02 / CLARITY

Understand the Terms

Andrew explains the proposed price, timing, and purchase terms for your client and their attorney to review. The property’s condition, occupancy, and any details that need attention are discussed early in the process.

03 / COORDINATION

Coordinate the Transaction

We work with experienced attorneys, surveyors, title professionals, and other specialists as the purchase requires. Andrew coordinates with the owner and those professionals to address outstanding details and help the transaction proceed smoothly.

Brokerage Representation

When a Listing
Better Serves the Owner

Some owners may benefit from offering their property to a wider market. Andrew can discuss listing and seller representation through Lewis Realty Group, our affiliated, separately licensed New York real estate brokerage.

Lewis Realty Group represents buyers and sellers and advises on acquisitions, dispositions, market analysis, and leasing. Under a separate brokerage engagement, Andrew can help your client assess the market, review opportunities or offers, and navigate the transaction.

The roles are distinct: Lewis Equity Group acts as the prospective buyer in a direct purchase; Lewis Realty Group represents its client in a brokerage transaction. Andrew explains which role applies before the owner decides how they would like to move forward.

Working Together

Supporting Your Client’s
Next Steps

Your client does not need to be ready to sell, have every document in hand, or have all the property’s details resolved before we speak. With their permission, you can introduce the property and their goals. Andrew can explain what would be helpful next and discuss how a direct purchase might fit their plans.

We work with a network of experienced attorneys, surveyors, title professionals, and other specialists. Andrew coordinates the purchase discussion with the professionals involved, helps identify details that need attention, and keeps the next steps clear.

The owner retains their own attorney for independent legal advice and contract review; Andrew handles the purchase discussion on behalf of Lewis Equity Group. Whether you are advising on the transaction or making an introduction, he can keep you involved with your client’s permission.

What to Share Initially

  • The property’s location and type
  • Its current use, occupancy, and any known concerns
  • Your client’s goals and timing, even if still taking shape
